Benefits of Coaching

Sometimes, it takes just one conversation to change your life!

As a client, there are many benefits and rewards that you can expect from a coaching interaction. If coaching is not delivering good feelings and outcomes then seek further a field.
Here are some of the powerful aspects of the coaching experience.

  • You get the time, attention, support and guidance from an individual with your best interests at heart. The focus is on your concerns.
  • You increase your awareness and realisation of what your purpose is. From that you are able to start and actually set and achieve goals.
  • You have a clearer view of the future so that many little problems and issues disappear. You ‘handle’ things with more ease. Constructive observation and feedback helps to put everything in perspective.
  • You get to know yourself more and what you want out of life. Life becomes more productive. You are more effective, efficient and results orientated. You have a greater realisation of your core strengths and how you can grow.
  • You feel more in charge as your self-responsibility increases and you make choices that affect life for the better.
  • You move towards achievements and build up momentum by using clear action plans as you focus on your goals.
  • If you want to change your negative beliefs to more positive ones, then coaching can help.

All the attention is on you!

You are invited to take up the opportunity to explore and discover what you want to achieve and what you are capable of being, not what other people are telling you to be and do. Coaching is you-centred. The coach has your interests at heart.

Why do I need a life coach?

Coaching helps you find your your shining light and capacity to add zing to your life. It is about encouraging you to express what you want as wants, then goals and then working to reach them. One of the hardest things that anyone will ever do, is to see a future that is the opposite of their current reality: to believe in order when surrounded by chaos, to believe in richness when in the midst of poverty, to believe in being in charge of one’s own life when repressed by others.

Lucky dip or your new possibilities

Have a look at some of the things that you and others say that indicate a mindset of blaming circumstances all the time. Life does not happen to you. Life becomes what you create and what you focus on. Winners beget winning and a loser mentality just loses. Coaching helps you to look for new options and possibilities that get you thinking creatively and creating.

Goals that go from heads to action

If you have goals floating around in your head already, then a coach will help you to write them into an action plan that will assist you to keep focused and complete tasks. Doing that brings you closer to your goals than you ever imagined. It is up to you.

Rake over the leaves, not the past

Some people’s lives seem to be tainted by undesirable experiences, and a bucket load of input from negative environments and even trauma. Acknowledging what happens to you is important but holding onto the past forever, diminishes our capacities to be more than we are currently thinking. Move on.
Get coached to tread a better path.

Light up creative brain capacity

The coaching process is like a lighthouse that beams its light to lead you out of the fog into safer and calmer waters. Ideas are encouraged and often the beam is a simple thought that switches old thinking over to new possibilities, unchartered waters and adventure. How would being a shining light feel do you think?

Valuing self first

If we are valuing ourselves based on external validation, meaning, what others think of us, then we are hooked into a constant approval system. Finding our value by finding who we are, and developing ourselves and our capacities, is the way to go. If we rely only on what others think of us, for our self-esteem, then we can get a fright when that approval is not forthcoming. Sure, it is great to get positive feedback from others; it is vital, but when it is the only source of our contentedness with who we are and what we have to offer, then we tend not to have the resilience to the knocks that others give us from time to time. Being the best we can be, is about being. Coaching helps us to find who we really are.
